Children of The Forgotten Re-Serialized on Smashwords
As I've stated before, releasing (or re-releasing) a book in this way gives the reader the option of reading a new book without too much risk to their hard-earned coin. If you liked part one, you have the option of going right on to part two, if you liked parts one and two and hated three, you can stop right there with hardly a dent in the checkbook, and more so if you hated part one to begin with.
With that said, I think you, Potential Reader, will enjoy the story within; at least, I certainly hope you will, that is mime and every author's goal after all.
So without further ado, I give you The Children of The Forgotten, again
Part One: The Ascent
The Vrilkist, an advanced alien race bent on galactic conquest and annihilation, has been eating away at the borders of The Imperial Confederation of Ertho—an empire already plagued by rebel and separatists factions—in an ongoing war.
The three front conflict has left the empire short on fighters and material while the Vrilkist, in contrast, appear to have unlimited resources and firepower.
Part Two: The Crucible
For his first tour of duty, newly commissioned ensign, Cornelius Coleman, arrives on Ara to lead a platoon. There he finds life on the rebel planet precarious at best; not only does he need to worry about death by Arian Rebels, but he must also contend with the chaotic native climate and—perhaps more importantly—the risk of getting fragged by his own platoon.
Part Three: The Struggle
The Wolfstar Crew is dead, The Battle of Klandine is lost, and the Empire is reeling from the Vrilkist assault.
Bent on revenge, and infected by a strained addiction to combat, Cornelius is recruited into Spy-1 Special Forces, the SSF. His first mission is to discover where the Vrilkist are originating from. Along with his new team, The Black Lions, he goes deep behind enemy lines.
Part Four: The Fallen
Thanks to Cornelius and his Black Lions, The Empire is now armed with fresh new intel in which to combat the Vrilkist with, giving renewed hope to the beleaguered imperial forces.
The timing couldn’t be better, for a massive Vrilkist armada is forming above the outpost world of Bloody Eye.
And for those interested, here is the link for the Kindle and Print versions of the entire book, which contains an expansive glossary in the back, detailing ranks, medals, and other info.
